Jos\u00e9 Gil Deportes Digital\/Maracaibo: <\/strong>El municipio Mara fue sede del Primer Festival de Ajedrez de la localidad el pasado fin de semana, un evento organizado por el equipo de la Asociaci\u00f3n Zuliana de Ajedrez y el Instituto Municipal de Deportes de Mara (INMUDEMA). La actividad, que marca el inicio de un nuevo Ciclo Ol\u00edmpico para la disciplina en la regi\u00f3n, se llev\u00f3 a cabo en el Sal\u00f3n de Reuniones del Terminal Terrestre de San Rafael del Moj\u00e1n.<\/p>\n

Este festival sirvi\u00f3 como pre\u00e1mbulo para la \u00abRuta del Ajedrez Zuliano\u00bb, un ambicioso proyecto que busca organizar, orientar e instruir a voluntarios, educadores y formadores para masificar la pr\u00e1ctica de este deporte en las comunidades y escuelas de todo el municipio. La direcci\u00f3n t\u00e9cnica del evento estuvo a cargo de Cristian Gonz\u00e1lez, R\u00f3mulo Villalobos y Jos\u00e9 Fern\u00e1ndez.<\/p>\n

El evento cont\u00f3 con la destacada presencia de Elibeth Villarreal, presidenta de la Asociaci\u00f3n Zuliana de Ajedrez, y F\u00e9lix Gonz\u00e1lez, Coordinador de Eventos Especiales de INMUDEMA, quienes respaldaron esta iniciativa para fomentar el ajedrez en la juventud del municipio Mara.<\/p>\n
